Who We Are

My name is Kornelia and I am the founder-director of the Interior Design Academy. It is a pleasure to welcome all our students, wherever you reach us from.

My own personal journey started in Hungary, where I qualified as an Interior Designer and was lucky enough to work on some incredible projects in Hungary, Serbia, Italy and Germany both on my own and as part of a team.

Learning about different interior design styles and building requirements in different countries gave me the drive and design confidence to established my own company in the UK, where I offer a full design and renovation service to my clients.

Over 15 years of experience have shown me that interior design is a passion shared by many but not often accessible to everyone. Along with our highly experienced and knowledgeable tutor interior designers from all over the world, we have made my dream true. We have made IDA! The only place where you can learn about Interior Design in your own time, own pace, in your preferred language with support from a tutor in your own country, gaining a CPD accredited British diploma.

The IDA Studio

We are delighted to offer a unique experience for all UK based students, by welcoming them for a face to face studying experience over three days with one of our tutors in our New Forest studio.

Grow your network and experience first hand a professional home measurement appointment with real-world customers. Visit the workshop/studio and chose between an interior design shopping experience where you can learn about the benefits of using different materials or have a day with us in the office, learning the basics about some of the popular 3d interior design CAD software.

The pricing for the interior design training experience includes a half board 3-night stay in the beautiful surrounds of the New Forest.
